A shred event is being hosted by the City of Goldsboro from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the Herman Park Center, located at 901 E. Ash St.

The shred event is not for businesses, commercial entities, or county departments.

There is a limit of three document boxes or 75 pounds of paper per individual.
