The Wayne County Veterans & Patriots Coalition’s annual Veterans Day Parade will be held on Nov. 11 in downtown Goldsboro.
William (Bill) Graham, CEO of the Wayne County Veterans & Patriots Coalition, says there should be good
participation this year, many units have already entered for the procession down Center Street.
Graham suggests that everyone take a moment to celebrate and honor all Veterans who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States.
The parade lineup will begin at 9:30 a.m. at N. Center St. and Ash St. The parade begins at 11:00 am.
Those wishing to enter this year’s parade may download the application form at waynegov.com/Services/Veteran Services/VeteransDayParade.
After completing the application, return it to Ms. Danitra Shuford, Veterans Services Assistant at the Veteran Services Office, located at 2001-D E. Ash St.

Following the parade, there will be a memorial service by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) at 12:45 at the Wayne County Veterans Memorial at the intersection of N. William St. and E Walnut St. across from the County Court House.
