SEVEN SPRINGS — Early Thursday morning Seven Springs firefighters were dispatched to the scene of a traffic accident on Indian Springs Road and Pineview Cemetery Road with possible injuries.

As fire units arrived on the scene they found a dump truck lying on the driver’s side in the highway blocking the road.

The driver wasn’t hurt in the accident. 

Firefighters set up traffic control around the scene. The dump truck was heading east on Indian Springs Road as it rounded the curve at the intersection of Pineview Cemetery Road and Indian Springs Road.

The driver ran off the right shoulder of the road and overturned blocking the road.

The accident is being investigated by the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
