Members of the Economic Development Committee of The Goldsboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., participated with the Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne in their fall Women’s Build on Sept. 28th, along with other volunteers.

Members sawed, nailed, and lifted boards to help lay the foundation of a new home, all while having a fun-filled day of hard work, learning new skills, and sisterly bonding. In 2025, a mother and her children will become the homeowners of this five-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Kinston.

Plans are being made for a spring Women’s Build at McNair Heights in Goldsboro.
