The Wayne County Museum, located at 116 N. William St., is showing the documentary “Eagle Squadrons to Strike Eagles: The History of the 4th Fighter Wing,” at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
The film documents the history of our greatest fighter wing from their origins as the RAF Eagle Squadrons through the 4th Fighter Wing’s contributions to national defense.
The one-hour and forty-minute film features interviews with members of the Wing from World War II to the present. Interviews with aces from World War II and the Korean War are included in the film.
The film captures the experiences of our great heroes who have defended America for over 75 years.
Dr. Roy Heidicker, former 4th Fighter Wing historian, producer, and director of the film, will attend the screening and will answer questions about the film.
This event is free to the public.
