Kristina Lorene Hegney Goodson, 42, peacefully passed away in the comforts of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Born in Spokane, Washington on July 2, 1982, she was the daughter of Marshall Hegney and the late Kathy Jo Driskill Campbell.

In addition to her father, Kristina is survived by her husband of sixteen years, David Goodson; her two sons who were her pride and joy, Tyler Goodson and Landon Goodson; and brother, Justin Hegney.

Kristina worked with Truist, starting her career there at the Cashwell Branch and later transferring to the Downtown Branch.

Family was paramount to Kristina, her life revolved around her two sons. No matter what activity they were participating in, she was always there cheering them on.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Seymour Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Kristina’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Parks officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
