Mr. Thomas W. Scales, 89, completed his earthly journey and transitioned from this earthly walk of life on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at UNC Wayne Healthcare, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Mark Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, 700 W. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

He was born on May 10, 1935, in Mt. Airy (Mayberry), NC to John Henry Scales and Selena Whitlock Scales. He is survived by his children; grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
