Mr. Wheeler E. Savage Jr., 73, completed his earthly journey on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 12:00 pm at the J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC at 2:00 pm. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 5:00 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

He was born on January 26, 1951, in Washington, D.C. to Nettie Plymouth and Wheeler Edward Savage Sr.
