Multiple WCC Organizations Giving Back to the Community

Multiple organizations at Wayne Community College are collecting donations to give back to the community. 

 
WCC’s Association of Nursing Students (WCCANS) is collecting blankets for Kriquette’s Kidz and food items for Southeastern Medical Oncology Center through November. 


Food items requested by Southeastern Medical Oncology Center include:

  • Ravioli or Chey Boyardee

  • Pasta

  • Spaghetti sauce

  • Instant mashed potatoes

  • Boxed Macaroni and Cheese

  • Ramen Noodles

  • Chicken Noodle Soup

  • Canned Fruit

  • Breakfast foods

  • Individually Packaged Snacks

 

Donations can be dropped off on the second floor of Wayne Community College’s Pine Building.

The Multicultural Club is gathering socks, gloves, beanies, and scarves throughout November to donate to the local Community Soup Kitchen. 

 
Donation boxes are in the Wayne Learning Center, the first floor of the Spruce Building, and the second floor of the Azalea Building. 

 

WCC’s Association of Educational Office Professionals (WCC AEOP) is collecting toys for children in the Wayne County foster care system to brighten their holidays. Toys are being accepted through Dec. 4. 

Donations can be dropped off in the Walnut Building in Room 222A, and in the Wayne Learning Center in Room 145.
