Jerry Lee Harper, 63, of 211 Crest Dr., passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday.
Jerry was born on May 7, 1961, in Wayne County to Wilden and Ruth Armwood Harper, He was a cherished member of his community, renowned for his kindness and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his infectious smile, generous spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Jennie Harper, of the home; his son, Andre Jackson Harper, Baltimore, MD; and a devoted family who will continue to honor his legacy of love and compassion. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A Tribute to Jerry’s Life and Legacy will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 12 Noon at the Southern Bank Auditorium on the University of Mount Olive Campus, located at 652 RB Butler Dr., Mount Olive. The celebration will commence with the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Memorial Service.
