CMSgt. Harry Richard Watters, USAF, of Pikeville, departed this earthly life Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro at the age of 76.

No formal service will be held.

Mr. Watters was born in Hampton County, South Carolina on May 6, 1948, to the late William C. and Mary Lee Mixon Watters. He retired from the United States Air Force with 26 years of dedicated service.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Painee Watters; his son, Toby Waters, and wife, Amber of Newport News, Virginia; his brother, Michael Scott Watters, and wife, Susan; two grandchildren, Jonah Watters and Joshua Walker and one great-grandchild, Joshua Walker III.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Watters was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Herndon.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
