Honor Our Firsts, a Wayne County non-profit founded to honor first responders, donated $2500 to Rewarding Responders, a 501(c)(3) that rewards first responders and their families with all-expenses-paid vacations to Walt Disney World.

Rewarding Responders will open nominations for 2025 First Responder Family Vacations in January of 2025.

Any first responder and their family in the U.S. may be nominated or self-nominated.

Families chosen will be announced in the Spring and families will travel to Walt Disney World in the Fall of 2025. To learn more, visit: RewardingResponders.org

Honor Our Firsts will hold their 4th annual Gala at 6 p.m. on Mar. 15th, at The Maxwell Center in Goldsboro.

This community event will celebrate and honor first responders and their families and include auction items to raise money to grant back to efforts that support first responders.
