Mr. Wiley S. Mozingo Jr.,74, completed his earthly journey and transitioned on Friday, December 27, 2024, at UNC Wayne Healthcare, Goldsboro, NC with his family by his side. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 1:30 pm at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 215 Sleepy Creek Road, Dudley, NC. He will be laid to rest at the First Congregational UCC Cemetery, Old Mt. Olive Hwy, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

He was born on February 10, 1950, in Wayne County, NC to Freddie Mozingo and Naomi Hobbs Mozingo. He is survived by his wife, Alice Wynn Mozingo, and sons: Kelvin, Myron, and Michael.
