January 11, 2025, 36, Mount Olive —
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Allred, age 36, who left us unexpectedly in January 2025. Michael was born on March 8, 1988, and was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Samantha Allred, their son Jack Waylon Allred (6 months), his previous wife & co-parent Ashley Galloway and their two children Brandon Allred (14) and Victoria (Tavi) Galloway (19). Michael is also lovingly remembered by his mother, Linda Allred, and her partner, Danny Tucker; his in-laws, Sandra and Bobby Ball; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Special devoted friends to the family include Michael and Lee Ann Lee; Lacy and Angela Bass. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Jack Allred, and his brothers, James and Mark Allred.
Michael was a dutiful employee at Brimberry Paint since 2019, where he quickly became a valued member of the team. His absence will be deeply felt by leadership, including Ms. Terri Walden Brimberry, Blake New, and the entire Brimberry crew, who will miss his dedication, hard work, and positive presence
Michael was known for his big heart and unwavering generosity. He was always ready to lend a hand to those in need, offering help with a smile and a kind word. He was a man of many talents—smart, hardworking, and gifted with his hands. His ability to fix and create things was unmatched, and he took pride in everything he did.
A passionate fisherman, Michael shared many peaceful moments by the water, finding joy in a quiet day of fishing. He also cherished his father’s legacy of coin collecting, a hobby he took great pride in continuing.
Above all, Michael was a devoted family man. He cherished his wife and adored his children. His love for them was evident in every moment they shared together. His commitment to his family and his ability to make everyone feel valued and loved are just a few of the qualities that made him so special.
Michael will be remembered for the love he gave, the memories he created, and the many lives he touched. He was loved by so many, and his tragic passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew him. We take comfort in knowing that his legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will live on in his children, who were the light of his life.
A memorial service to honor Michael’s life will be held at Friendly Holiness Church in Mount Olive, NC on January 16th 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the family’s Go Fund Me at: http://gofund.me/6b429a89.
