Winter weather is forecast for Wayne County for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. 

The National Weather Service is forecasting dangerously cold temperatures through the middle of the week.

Daytime highs are expected to be in the 20s and 30s, and nighttime lows in the mid-teens to around 20 degrees. 

There is a 50% chance of snow between 7 p.m. on Tuesday and 5 a.m. on Wednesday. 

Varying forecasts have Wayne County projected to receive between an inch to five inches of snow. 

There is also a 30% chance of snow on Thursday afternoon.
