Diane Bryant Rouse, 60, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Born in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of Robert Bryant and the late Joyce Bryant.
Diane is survived by her husband, Ed Rouse; children, Bobby Webber, Amanda Lynn Webber, and Christopher Rouse; granddaughter, Regan Webber; sister, Donna; step-mother, Susan Bryant; and special canine friends, Buster. Diane is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Diane had an adventurous spirit, and traveling to new places brought her immense joy. Whether exploring exotic destinations or relaxing on the open seas, she was always eager for new experiences and loved sharing these adventures with her family. Her home was her sanctuary. Diane took great pride in her house, always maintaining it with meticulous care and keeping it a welcoming space for friends and family. She had an undeniable passion for gardening, nurturing her plants with a tender touch and creating beautiful outdoor spaces that reflected her love for nature’s beauty.
Diane was also an exceptional cook. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she delighted in preparing delicious meals for loved ones. Her culinary talents were matched only by her ability to make every gathering feel special, whether hosting holiday feasts or casual dinners for close friends.
Diane was currently employed by Wilson Community Health Center in Wilson, NC and previously worked for several years at Scott Farms, Inc. in Lucama, NC.
A time of visitation and remembrance will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Special Olympics North Carolina 2200 Gateway Centre Blvd, Suite 201, Morrisville, NC 27560 in memory of Diane.
