Due to the threat of inclement weather, the City of Goldsboro and County of Wayne offices will be closed on Wednesday.

Both offices will remain closed until conditions warrant reopening.

The County of Wayne office closure applies to all non-essential personnel and prioritizes the safety of Wayne County employees and residents.

This closure includes the Wayne County Courthouse, all branches of the Wayne County Public Library, Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center, Wayne County Animal Shelter, and the Wayne County Landfill and convenience centers.

Superior Resident Court Judge Billy J. Strickland II has announced that all Wayne County courts will follow the same closings above.
