The Partnership for Children of Wayne County is offering a free childcare academy from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mar. 10-21.

The courses offered will cover health and safety, CPR and first aid, challenging behaviors, ITS SIDS, playground safety, BSAC, and professionalism and resume building.

The academy is intended for participants not yet working in early childcare.

Participants will receive the training necessary to work in regulated childcare programs in North Carolina.

Certificates will be issued after each training.
