February 1, 2025, 63, Goldsboro —
Jeffrey Richard Glover, 63, rode into Heaven on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from UNC Wayne in Goldsboro. Jeff was born in Catawba County to the late Michael and JoAnn Glover on November 7, 1961.
Jeff was a hard-working man. He has owned and operated an auto body shop for many years, where he never met a job he couldn’t fix. He was the perfect family man, taking great pride in caring and providing for them. One of his greatest joys was competing alongside his daughter in barrel racing.
Those of us who knew Jeff weep at our loss, laugh with our remembrances, and reflect deeply on how much he meant to us. He made our world better simply by being a part of it.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Jeff’s life at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Richard Toler officiating.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Marilyn Jones Glover, his daughter, Dakota Ann Glover, and his son, Michael Durham Edwards, with whom Jeff was excited to add to the family Shannon Marie Wood. Jeff is also survived by his brother, Keith Glover, and his two nieces, Lissa Glover and Camber (Jacob) Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his memory to Twisted Mane Rescue, Inc., 7141 Great Swamp Loop, Lucama, NC 27851.
Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
