On January 25, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an identity theft of an out of state individual by a Wayne County resident.

It was determined that the victim’s identity was first compromised in Wayne County by the defendant in June 2016.

As a result of this investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Elesban Ivan Roblero – Gonzalez, 32, 108 N. Running Deer Circle, Dudley, was charged with felony identity theft and misdemeanor obtaining a North Carolina identification card using false information.

Roblero-Gonzalez was given a $10,000 secured bond.
