On Jan. 29, 2025, members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office ViPR Team conducted a traffic stop for a Chapter 20 Violation at the intersection of West Grantham St and N. James St.

During the stop all occupants exited the vehicle.

The driver fled but both passengers Victor Solomon Lee, 25, Goldsboro, and Reshawn Alston, 25, Goldsboro were arrested.

A firearm was located on one male and another firearm was located inside the vehicle.

Lee was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon. He received a $12,000 secured bond.

Alston was charged with possession of a firearm by felon.
