Faye Edmundson Westbrook, 81, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at her home. Faye was born in Wayne County to the late James Add Edmundson and Mary Rachel Edmundson on December 16, 1943. She retired from AT&T.

Genuine in her words, Faye was easy to talk to, quick to befriend, and impossible not to love. Possessing a great sense of humor, her personality was large and her will was strong. Ever willing to share her opinion, she was a determined woman who worked hard to hold a successful career and live a fulfilling, happy life.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. Faye will be remembered privately at a later date.

Faye is survived by her son, Monte Todd Westbrook and wife, Kymme of Wimauma, FL; granddaughter, Raechel Westbrook of Goldsboro; brother, Jimmie Edmundson and wife, Donna of Goldsboro; her favorite niece, Allyson Edmundson Mauzy; and many other family and friends she loved very much.
