Betty Patricia Hart, 69, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at her home. Pat was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina to the late Jack and Betty Roberts on November 25, 1955. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Todd Hart.

Pat was a valued employee of Kmart for over 20 years and later with Lowe’s for around 20 years. She especially enjoyed her time in the Garden Center at Lowe’s.

Only second to God was Pat’s family. She was a loving fiancée to Jackie, mother to her boys and treasured her grandchildren as precious jewels. While she is gone temporarily from sight, Pat will forever remain in their hearts and memories.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Pat’s life at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Andy Stovall officiating.

Pat is survived by her fiancée, Jackie Person; sons, David Hart and wife, Holly and Jack Hart and wife, Jenny; grandchildren, Brian Miller Hart (Justin), Hannah McKenzie Hart, Eden Elizabeth Hart, Haley Madison Hart, Grace Quinn Hart, Wesley Thomas Smith and Chloe Nycole Hart; and sisters, Susie Field and Gail Morris. She is also survived by her beloved K-9 friends, Jackson and JJ.
