Peter Stephen Kascsak passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Wayne/UNC Health Care. Born in Bayside, NY, he was the son of the late Michael Francis Kascsak and Mary E. Ponizsil Kascsak. He was retired with The United States Air Force with 20 years of service and was retired with Boling Chair in Mt. Olive after 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, the Goldsboro Knights of Columbus, Mount Olive VFW Post 9959 and the American Legion Post 103 and was a Cub Master of Pack 92 at Brogden Church.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 21, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Bernard Kayimbw Mbay, C.I.C.M. as celebrant. The family will have a time of visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Kascsak is survived by his sons, Peter S. Kascsak, Jr. (Susan), David Michael Kascsak (Ladell) and Richard Paul Kascsak (Peggy); brothers, Paul Kascsak (Joyce) and Arthur Kascsak (Susan); sister, Rosemary Ardiff; grandchildren, Stephen Kascsak, Brandon Hinnant, Gina Cruz; great grandchildren, Austin Globke, Kaitlyn Cruz, Andrew Hinnant and Allison Hinnant.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Anderson Kascsak and his daughter, Karen Marie Kascsak; his brothers, Michael Kascsak and John Kascsak.
