GREENSBORO — Goldsboro High School junior Jaden McClary captured the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 2-A individual state wrestling championship in the 285-pound weight class on Monday night at First Horizon Coliseum.

McClary defeated Michael Vazquez of McMichael in the finals.

McClary finished the season with a record of 31-2.
