FREMONT — The streets of downtown will be full of vendors, classic cars, live entertainment, food trucks, and excitement as the 37th annual Daffodil Festival is held on Saturday.
The official opening ceremonies begin at 10 a.m.
Band of Oz has been announced as the featured entertainer for the Daffodil Festival.
NorthBound Worship, FatMouth, and Jimmy Deve have also been announced as additional entertainment.
There will also be a kids zone with proceeds benefitting the Charles B. Aycock High School Deca Club.
All payments for tickets and admission to the kids zone must be in cash.
The Wayne County Cruisers and the Eastern Carolina Vintage Farm Equipment Club will be on-site as well.
A complete schedule of events can be found on the Fremont Daffodil Festival Facebook page.
Last year’s Daffodil Festival featured the Keith Stewart Memorial Daffodil Dash, a flyover from the Bandit Flight Team, entertainment, a children’s area with inflatables, a car show with the Wayne County Cruisers, the Eastern Carolina Vintage Farm Equipment Club, and NC Party Pals.
Food trucks offering a wide variety of options lined the streets of downtown Fremont, and over 150 vendors selling handmade crafts and clothes were on hand.
