Excitement is soaring as “Jams Over Wayne” takes flight on May 2, marking the perfect collaboration between Wings Over Wayne Show and Downtown Goldsboro Development.

This special event serves as both an electrifying opener to the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Wings Over Wayne Air Show and the official launch of the Downtown Goldsboro summer concert series – Center Street Jam.

“Jams Over Wayne” will be a free event from 6 p.m. to 9 at The HUB in downtown Goldsboro, and is the only Friday night concert of the season, making it a can’t-miss experience.

Following this high-energy kickoff, Center Street Jam will return to its traditional Thursday night schedule, beginning May 15, and continuing every other Thursday through Aug. 7.

Adding to the excitement this year is a brand-new act to Goldsboro’s music scene – The Amazing Lounge Lizards.

This dynamic party band delivers a diverse mix of hits from the ‘70s through the 2000s, guaranteed to get the crowd dancing.
