It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Clifton B. Howell, 72, who completed his earthly journey on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at home surrounded by his loved one. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 1:00pm with a viewing from 12:00pm to 12:50pm at St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC.

He was born on July 18, 1952 in Wayne County, NC to U J Howell Sr. and Leatha Dancy Howell. He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie Coley Howell of the home; his children and other loving relatives and friends.
