Ms. Ruby M. Outlaw, 86, completed her earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward, Wednesday, March 26 2025 at home surrounded by her loved ones. A memorial celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 12:00 noon at The Word Warehouse, 1303 N. Florida Street, Goldsboro, NC.

Ruby Mae Battle Outlaw was born August 3, 1938 to Thomas Battle Sr. and Maggie Bell Williams Crawford. She leaves to cherish her loving memories and glorify her journey four sons: Linwood Battle, Maurice Bizzell, Stevie (JoAnna) Bizzell and Marty Bizzell. She also leaves precious memories to five sisters: Diana Bynum, Edna Whitfield, Theresa (James) Faison, Joyce Crawford and Sherry (Willie) Lee all of Goldsboro, NC; one brother, Willie (Laura) Crawford of Goldsboro, NC; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
