GOLDSBORO, NC – Enjoy celebrating culture? Wayne Community College’s Cultural and Global Education Committee is hosting an International Festival with participation from WCC’s Multicultural Club, Global Scholars, and English as a Second Language (ESL) students, along with other local organizations.
The festival will be held Monday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Dr. G. Herman Porter Atrium located inside the Wayne Learning Center – the main building located on campus with flag poles in front. This is free and open to the public and attending students.
There will be music, “Around the World” table displays of countries represented in the community, international board games, a language exchange area, a mandarin calligraphy station, a Zumba flash mob, and much more. WCC encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities.
