Alton Leander Lee, 94, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro. Born in Lenoir County on February 15, 1931, he was son to the late Emmett and Maggie Lee.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Adamsville Baptist Church in Goldsboro. A service to honor Alton’s life will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary with Pastor Rick Overman officiating. Interment will conclude at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton.

Alton is survived by his son, Michael Lee and wife, Cathy; grandson, Michael Brown; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Rachael Livengood; grandson-in-law, Jeff Livengood; and his special friend and companion, Dot Ham and her family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Parrish Lee and his granddaughter, Marianne Livengood.
