MOUNT OLIVE, NC – The University of Mount Olive (UMO) is set to spotlight the creative achievements of its art and graphic design students at the much-anticipated annual Spring Student Art Show. The exhibition officially opens with a public reception on Tuesday, April 29, from 4 to 6 PM in Laughinghouse Hall. Both the show and the reception are free and open to the public.
Running from April 21 through May 2, the exhibition will feature a vibrant collection of student work—from emerging first-time exhibitors to accomplished graduating seniors. Attendees can expect a rich display of styles, media, and artistic perspectives, reflecting the dynamic and evolving creative culture at UMO.
“This event celebrates our students’ hard work, passion, and growth throughout the academic year,” said Professor Cheryl Hooks, Assistant Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences. “It’s a chance for the community to engage with the visual voices of our campus and for our students to share their creative journeys.”
